I believe Ive seen a few sterlings with cocker frames & was wonder what was involved with swapping them onto the gun. Is it more or less bolt on or do you have to mess with the sear & stuff.

I believe you need a swing frame and it's easier to use an automag frame.

Nope no special adapters. At least I didn't need one. I did some filing on an Automag frame and it went right on. And if I remember right I drilled out the nubs at the top of the grip and that's where the sear pin went through and secured the grips at the same time. Just take your time and really look at how the Sterling Trigger works and you can see that a Mag CF frame modifies easily.
