question about the 45grip factory upgrade

Ive recently acquired a old sterling pump in a trade. It has a super sweet ano job along with the matching 12oz tank. The tank has '94 stamped on it.

I am looking to get the 45grip factory upgrade. Are there any compatibility issues with the older markers?

No. That would bolt on fine without an issue.
That is one GORGEOUS Sterling. I would also not bother with the .45 grip frame, and keep it original as it is truly a fine piece. Look for a set of Sheridan 'Battle Grips' or Viewloader's 'Groovy Grips' for Sheridan framed guns if you're interested in improving the 'feel' of the handle.

I wholeheartedly concur with The-Shootist. Keep it vintage.

i would recommend keeping that grip frame and try and get some sp wood grips for it. Comfee as hell and you might be able to find a set that goes well with that color. I have some rose ones im thinking about selling soon if interested.

With all the snow that we have gotten around here this winter, I haven't even had a chance to use it yet. Im super stoked on it.

The reason why I asked about the 45grip, is that I picked up one of those CCI drop forwards (older style) to use the cci tstock. This way, I can use the tstock with 12gram (or even the 12oz tank). But the angle of the tstock is a little wierd with the handle it has now.

Ive also been looking around for wood grips. But havent had much luck yet.

I'm not even a huge fan of crazy anno jobs and even I think that's hot. Battle grips are DEFINITELY the way to go if you can find them, I had a set on an double-barreled Sheridan PGP concoction that I whored out a long time ago, and they really were the most comfortable set of grips I've ever held.

So, I got the 45 grip from sterling not too long ago. I didnt have too much trouble getting it on. But I did have to use the old mounting rail instead of the new one provided. The slot milled in the new one wasnt long enough to allow the hammer to hit the trigger sear when pumped. Luckily, the old rail fit the new trigger frame. I also picked up a CCI drop forward (old style) and a CCI Lstock. And I threw on some panels made by Stingerpaintball. Here she is:
