Appraisal and Info

First I would like some info on what I have here, and an appraisal. Also how does one adjust the velocity?

There are a few scratches on the left side of the body.

Looks to be an older one with actual 'Sterling' barrel threads. Back bottle ASA.

Money wise, $125-$175... maybe.

On a side not, I really want it since it would look so good next to mine.

Ok and the barrel it has is really weird cuz its annod aluminum on the outside and inside its like a brass sleeve running the entire length of the barrel.

Completely normal for this vintage. Very nice Sterling.

Shootist is right. Ones of this age come like that. I have a pair of matching brass lined barrels for my Sterling with the longer/ported one for for freak insert.

Oh really, how were they made cuz its really cool and puzzled the crap out of me. Cuz i was looking inside and the barrel was bronze inside and weighed quite a bit.

How do you adjust the velocity?

After Ryan cut mine for freaks, it left some 'glue' lines. Im guessing at room temp a very tight friction fit plus the glue.

Springs & shims or regulating.
