Constant air

Hey there, I just picked up one of the new sterlings in the island style stock class configuration. I want to run bulk air out the bottom of the grip like a normal gun. Where can I get the parts for it? Plus I need to get the before the 15th

my config (on an old sterling mind you, but the basics are the same) was a part of a remote (to go in the valve, or - in your case the adapter), a normal bottomline ASA, fwo fittings and a plastic hose to connect it all.

You should have no trouble getting those parts at the local paintball store.

Here's a pic:

If you don't really ever want to go back to the original island style, here is my set-up: Sterling Picture Thread

You could ignore the vertical adapter and just run a big piece of macro or stainless steel braided line from the valve to an asa. And you could still go back, you'd just have to plug the hole tapped in the valve.

Hmmm tapping the valve would be a problem since i do not have the right tools.
and Szary the new ones don't have the asa on the back

IF your valve has a 1/8 threaded port on it, just screw what fittings & hose you need into it then down to your ASA. If you could get a picture of the bottom of your frame we could help you with figuring out how to mount a normal ASA on there.

Mounting the ASA is the easy part, I believe it accepts normal asa screws, its the valve that I have trouble with it has a strange fitting designed specifically for the sterling and only accepts pressure fit hardline.

Try taking the fitting out & screwing in a normal macro fitting.

I tried that but the fitting is very strange, it uses a screw to hold it on in the center and the air travels up through a small hole in the center of the screw and the whole thing is sealed by a oring around said screw. Pretty much i need to find a place to buy a new valve, or hard line for this thing. Arrow llc / Sterling Paintball - Stock Class STP
there is a picture/manual

The Sterling I sold to a friends sons had an extra side tapped valve. Want me check with him & see how much he wants for it?
