Back in the mid-90s, the Sterling STP was viewed as the Rolls Royce of pump guns. The Phantom was viewed as a quality gun too but not quite on its level. Today, those viewpoints seem to have flipped and I would guess that a lot of that has to do with the company and 3rd party support that the Phantom has received. If the STP had continued to receive support and various upgradable parts, then I would have to believe it would be up near the front of the pack for pumps.

Glad to see you guys hanging in there. The Sterling websites in the US seem to have vanished, along with customer support, and availability of product.

I seriously want a sterling. Saving up the money. If I can just stop myself from buying all these old pumps... It's hard to say no to a pump.

Be strong, Crossbow. There's a beautiful black STP sitting on my desk waiting for you to take her home ;-)

Well... I am done buying pumps for now, so I can start squirreling away money for that black STP. But I warn you... I expect that exact one when the time comes

Good news, though... One if the pumps I picked up is an old school Sterling! pictures will be posted when I get her in.
