New Sterling Owner

After a phone interview with the Department of Homeland Security yesterday, I took delivery of my new Sterling STP today. I had owned one 20 years ago, but it was nothing like this!! First off, a big thank you to Michael Taitt for the flawless transaction.

Could I please have barrel recommendations from other newer Sterling owners?? Unfortunately, my whole barrel collection is cocker threaded.

I sent a messag to Sterling management, letting them know what a great asset Michael is to the company, and how much we enjoy having him here on MCB!

Is it Sterling or Spyder threaded?

Be sure to post pics!

Since it is brand new, Im going to go out on a limb and say it is Spyder threaded. I'll get some pics up soon for sure!

I am running a Ifit kit along with a sly carbon fiber barrel or a Palmers nickle plated brass barrel.

Like both set up with the I-fit system.

I already have the iFit kit, just A5 threaded. I would just need to get a new adapter to make my cocker barrels fit on a Spyder thread.

Could you elaborate on the Homeland Security interview? Was that so you could get a paintball marker from customs?

You are correct!! They actually called me to discuss the nature of the package. When I explained what it was, we both had a good laugh.

They still have brand new bodies with Sterling threads.

They do, but this is one of the new bodies. Thanks for the heads up on that.
