That is what I was going to try at last resort, but if I can get the "official" dimensions I'd rather do it that way especially if they are coming from "the man!". I've noticed every gun I look at that has the the cocker style they all seem to be "just a bit" in front of the the feed tube.

what if you had the dimensions for the wire detent hole? would it not be the proper placement for a cocker detent?

I would think the center point if the wire detent would be the same as the center point of the cocker style detent. Do you know what the center point distance is for the wire detent from the back of the body?

I've just got back from speaking to Dave and we don't have any data on the positioning of the ball detent. This is only because we've never fitted one. That said, the position of the wire detent should be in the same location for the ball detent, so it makes sense to use the position of the milled slot for the ball detent. I've asked Dave to supply us with the dims for the slot, so pm me if you need them.
