barrel for my sterling

Hi

I've a 16" SP camp signature for my stp sterling (sterling thread). But, in France, nobody want to freak it...

2 choices:

-play with my .692 SP and have some balls rolling out... dry shoots.......

-find a barrel kit to make on it the sterling thread. But what's the best barrel and the best thread to do that? Cocker, angel, other?

Thanks for yours answers.

Marc

You can ask if any other member have a sterling barrel for sell, pay to have them ship it to someone that does freak in the us, then pay for the shipping to france.

Are you planning on re-threading a barrel kit? (your option 2).

Or you can try the nail polish detent method in the mean time to help with the roll out.

Yes i can try the nail polish detent method but all my barrels use freak inserts and its the best barrel system for me. And, where I play, all balls are between .687 and .677...

If i can't do freaked my barrel, why not rethread a barrel kit? It's expensive certainly but this sterling will be my main...

And you have thought about install wedgits (by PPS) on your barrel ? It's a good solution for avoid roll out.

Stanchy said his boss also had the tools to make barrels at the shop, just wanted to have his boss prove it to him.

Maybe Palmer could do a sterling threaded barrel.
