Talking I can't wait!!! but I have too

Well, I've been talking with Mike Taitt on getting a brand new STP, and the money got to him yesterday so my new marker should be hitting the mail soon. This will only be the second marker I've ever bought brand new in my life and I'm going back to the roots of paintball, pure Stock Class! I already have my PB Mafia Joy Ride, 450 Leland Co2 cartridges, 100 Empire 10 round tubes so all I need to do is make up a dump pouch, buy some paint and go out and have some fun.
Like the title says I can't wait for my new S/C Gun but I guess the shipping is forcing me to wait :-(

Awesome man,

did you get a colored gun or stock black?

Where did you get 100 empire 10rds from, those ore the smoke color ones with those nise low profile speed caps?

I have used WTF dump pouch, there vary nice, but have resently moved onto a condor drop leg dump pouch also a nice way to go.

If your interested I could sell off the WTF dump pouch.

good luck with the new sterling, I loved my stp, I am now working on rebuilding an older sterling, have fun and catch you in the middle.

This is a totally custom STP, more details to follow when the gun makes it's way to me.

The Empire tubes I won on flea-bay (new) for $54 shipped, smoke colored and hinged caps.

As for the dump pouch, I've been doing some reading and a lot of looking on-line, I have a 1949 Singer Sewing machine and an old pair of cammo overalls so what I'm going to do is, some of the features on different pouches I'm going to incorporate into the one I'm going to make.

I currently have a Proline Sterling with all polished internals, I'm not sure if they were called STP's back then or not but it's quite possibly the best gun I've ever owned which is the reason I took the plunge, Mike Taitt worked with me on what I wanted in my next marker. I also saw the marker your "modding" up and I can't wait to see pictures of it once it's done.

Well I din't have to wait very long!
I started this post because I received an email from Mike with a tracking number on Thursday. I didn't do any tracking Thursday night because it just hit the mail earlier that day. On Friday at 10:30 am I received an email stating that I should have my gun now. So I went home Friday for lunch (I live 10 minutes from work) and saw a note on my door from FedEx saying I missed my delivery. After eating lunch I went back to work, I left at 4:00 and made the 1 hour drive in rush hour traffic to pick my gun. Unfortunately the driver wasn't back yet, luckily for me I only had to wait a half hour until he arrived back. After my 45 minute drive back home I finally got to see what my custom Sterling STP looks like:

I couldn't be happier!

Thanks, this Saturday I'm planning on running with it set up as pure Stock Class.
