Thread updates ?

Is there anyway we can update the thread title? For example after you sell a gun adding SOLD to the title so people know or UPDATED when you add something to your thread. I remember the old forum site supported such updates, wondering if that can be done here. Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, you have to be a paying member of the site in order to change the title of your thread. Just one of the myriad of amazing benefits that come with same.

I dont know if it is a mod thing, but try double clicking on a thread title.

But I am a paying member and then some.

Double clicking no worky.

You have to double click on the thread page.

Start from scratch:

http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/

Then click on the forum you want. Say "Ask the Experts".

Once there, you see a page with a list of discussions right? That's where you can double click. Click right next to the title of the discussion, and you should be able to edit it there, and it will transfer throughout.

Give it a go, and let me know if it works for you.

Where exactly do I double click? If I double click on the title it sends me to the thread. If I double click on the envelope it puts a lock on the thread.

Maybe just the mods can edit thread titles?

I have people (including paying members) PM me all the time to edit their thread titles for them when they change a sale or something. I don't mind doing it.
