How about a sub-section dedicated to "Cross Border Firearm Rights Debates", with sub-sub-sections of "If we had a time machine/Putting the Genie Back Into the Bottle" and "Well we don't have a time machine/The Genie is Here to Stay"

Too specific? Or not specific enough?

That is a good idea, it would be nice to be able to see the stuff for sale in Canada in one spot.

Put down another vote for the Canadian buy and sell forum. Then I could post my WTB list hehehehe Or atleast track down a couple more markers on that list.

There are certainly enough Canadians.

I would like to see a list of users by region/state so we could better coordinate things.

I may be up for such a project as long as I have a way of inputing the information in such a way that it acually gets used usefully...... It's a lot of people to go through, but it definatlly could be done.

If everybody filled in their location in their user profile it would be helpful.

I'll see what I can think of after my last final tonight.

That wouldn't do much unless we could index it and search it within the site.

I think if we made an announcement of some kind people would be more than willing to participate. I don't code so I would not be sure as how best to implement it once gathered.

Being able to search profiles for location would definatlly be a big help in building this list.

I know of a few sites that put a persons profile on a map along with other users, but that sounds like a lot of work. But if we could find someone with a bit of programming knownage, could they not build a simple, interactive 2D map with states and provinces (to start) that's interactive for locating members? I'm sure it's not as easy as it sounds.

I have quite a few ideas on how to gather where people are, but my problem is how do we use it effectively.... hmmm...
