| MCB Member  Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Southern Maine | Manfacturers, and other "big wigs" are usually very wary of talking on public forums, and chat groups. Sometimes they are worried about the liability of saying something they shouldnt. Sometimes its just a hassle to deal with ignorant fanboys, or haters. That said, there are few forums more respected that MCB. Its like anything in life- Treat them with the respect they deserve, and they might welcome the chance to tell old stories, and such. Idema is a good example- What good would it do to have him on just to bash him? He will just tell us to fark off, and punch the guy next to him. instead, focus on his products- Its vest are legendary. Or his Tournament promotional work, etc. Paintball, unfortunetly, has a very dark side. We all talk about the "golden age", but it was never really gold. Backstabbing, infighting, intellectual and property theft were always common. IE its fun to hear Palmer bash Bud Orr, but that might also prevent Bud from ever wanting to come on?
