Plus, if it really, really bothers him, he can just type out the whole thing and skip the button.

When I'm browsing using Lynx, or Elinks, those buttons do not work right, so I'll just manually type in the {url}htpp:whatever{/url}

Its not like that extra typing is going to kill me. I might even burn an extra calorie or 2!
