Warning about PM space?

I'm trying to PM Frink and his box is full.

For those less aware members of how much space they have left can we get a warning that pops up like a PM notice that lets the user know they are at 90% capacity and then finally a FULL notice?

Well.. there isn't a popup per se, but it does say under your private messages when you are over 90% full, etc

Let me see what I can do to help out Frink.

I can't read the PM's, but I can see that he is full, and his problem is over 400 of his messages are stored in his "sent" items folder.

People always forget to clear out the sent items. If people kept those clear, you would usually have plenty of space.

I fixed it. I get lazy and just delete 100 at a time and I'm consistently surprised how quickly it fills up again. I'm always hesitant to delete entire pages at a time when there are a few outstanding BST issues hidden amongst them.

I guess I should clean it out before putting up 4 FS threads

I'm the same way and I rarely mass delete as I usually have links / addresses and misc info I want to hold on to. What would be awesome is some sort of mass export feature.

MaD... There is an export feature.

At the bottom of your PM page is should say:

Download all Private Messages as:
XML | CSV | Text

I like to privately complain in my heart that the old MCB was better.

Back when I had a PM box that was 100 percent full..that kept growing with over 3000 messages.

Those were the days.

:P

Me too... I think I need to buy two supporting memberships to double my capacity. Any chance that'd work?
