I think he meant something like the PBN system, where they charge for "gold" ups, which also put them over standard posts.

Which I think is a bad idea.

The users here are all pretty smart. They know that a B/S/T with lots of ups is most likely overpriced and/or overvalued, which tends to view them as a bit suspect.

So they tend to get ignored. At least by me anyway. So its a bit of a non-problem, at least for MCB

I really can't see the problem with "bumping." Anything worth looking at as a buyer is going to be in the first post, and if it isn't, maybe look into enforcing price changes, item availability (Sold/Pending), and whatever else someone might need to change to be edited into the first post instead of sellers just adding it into new posts. Which would also be a plus because when the seller is updating using new posts, its a fake/"sneaky" bump. So that would lower the useless posts.


Not to imply the staff isn't doing a good job!

Like I said though, I don't really see the problem. Its not hard to scroll past the posts, and if its giving you issues on your phone...stop using a phone. You can't really expect a website to change something just to make it work better with phones. That's ridiculous.

If you do a bump limit...Then you will get new posts of the same item...
Example...4 bumps...please close...opens another....Or maybe thats what you want?

I have a purple sniper II for sale...I'll bump it until it's sold...I'm not lowering the price...I'm not bumping everyday..I really don't feel like making another post after 4 bumps...

PBR has something like that. When you sign up you have to have at least 20 posts before making a FST ad. For better or worse on here, that may not work, as people come here with sometimes rare stuff and 20 posts or less may just scare them away.
