Im about to head out the door and get over to the shop!
I have a big ol box of goodies, i got like 6 barrels, a cocker body and a few other goodies to work on :D
PAUL PARK, I need you to contact me, I received your parts without the piece of paper with all of your contact/shipping/username/forum/ORDER/etc. Your parts will NOT get done until I get contact from you.
My goal is to get a BUNCH of stuff done, and shipped, so if I have some of your work, you should be gettin a PM!
at the shop updates :D
3 of 4 packages boxed up
1 freak bore down
need to fire up the cnc lathe and get the threading programs rollin :D
Dye UL tips, or maybe CCM tips...
Freak Tips next week (left my freak back at home, so i cant 100% the threads)
ccm threading worked!
cut up an 6" phantom barrel and turned it into a in 6.68" OAL (tip is 5.38") CCM tip!
grabbin a quick bite and gettin back to work!
i've threaded 4 barrels as CCM Tips..
6.6" Gloss Black CCI -$40
11.6" Gloss Black CCI -$45
14.6" Gloss Black CCI -$50
11.75" Gloss Black Taso Windforce -$50
The best part about these....
I dont groove them as deep as the CCM Tips, so they are FREAK BOREABLE!
Imagine a Freak Bored Phantom Tipped CCM Back on your T2, 6.5 or J12 ;)
Next up... Broached TPC's
5 phantom TPC's are oringd, broached (open face with 1/4" allen hex) and reamed to .250"!
+ i did 1 custom length one for my nelsplat (i hope it'll work)
gonna clean em up and get a pic posted over at SSCfb!
just windowed a trilly, turned out just about PERFECT :D
left on my workbench
9 freak bores (1/1/1/3/3 per order)
1 freak tip threading (will be next week, forgot my freak back at home)
2 matching halfblocks (just need to do a little more work on em)
2 pa builds
1 midblock to finsih
cnc programs left to write...
Just curious, is that a Paul Park from So Cal?
Broached (open face with 1/4" allen hex) and reamed to .250"!What is accomplished with this mod Stanchy?
I call it "broached" because that's what it is, its a hex broach
I reemed it to .250"id because I needed to deburr them and I figured it'll make em a little better flow
Another question about my project. I'm sure you can shorten barrels right? My sterling barrel I think I will want a couple inches cut off.
