t8 help!!!!!

I need someone who has a regular t8's help. are the front and the back screw that hold the grip on interchangeable???? or is one longer than the other????

this is important because apparently tiberius didn't bother to put a screw in the back grip of mine. now the back screw of the sa-8 isn't long enough to fit in mine either. and I know why too. on the back block of the sa-8 there is a nub that the rear grip screw screws into. on my tac 8 refurb there is no nub. thus my screw needs (in the first place to be there) and to be a 1/4inch longer. the lack of a screw there lets the gun leak.

notice that there is no nub thing...

regular T8's don't have that nub. I don't think the lack of screw would cause a leak though. Check that your powertube is screwed all the way into the valve body.

the lack of a back screw could cause leakage as it holds the oring tight that goes from the reg to the valve...

so there was no screw in the bottom back of the grip when you got it?

First I am terribly sorry to hear that your marker arrived in this condition, we pride ourselves on great customer service & attention to detail and in the rush to turn these things around we obviously missed the mark here.

Fortunately this is an easy problem to correct. The screw not being present allowed the bottom end cap oring to leak (possibly blow out all together). Just give me a ring or email at eric@tiberiusarms.com and I will get you the parts needed to make the repair out immediately.

Another example of why I chose a Tiberius Arms product as my main marker. Try getting that service from some other manufacturers or even some *ahem* Custom Shops...

Props to TA and Eric!
