T8 mag issue

I got these back today....

Inserting a clip in one of them is difficult the last 1/4"-1/2". I have to slam it in the rest of the way. Then it takes a bit to pull back out. I can't see anything different between this T8 compared to my other ones. Something I can look for??

Is it just the one mag or do they all jam ?
If they all jam in the one marker I would first check to see if the "peirce " nipple is bent or cross threaded.

Check to see if the mag release is free with full travel both ways.
If it is just one mag beeing a pain, check to make sure the outer O ring that seals to the pin is intack and lubed (not broken and laying in the valve)

Hope some of this helps

Fan of EMR
also check to make sure the long screws in that mag have not been over tightened...

In this vein...

Loosen the long screws and the little ones that hold the "valve" part of the mag to the mag. Then try to center up the valve and tighten the screws. Sometimes the valve part can seat a little off center causing the nipple to rub and the valve to rub on the inside of the grip. The grip has small raised lands inside that center the valve up to the nipple, and if the valve is off, the mag seats a little crooked and binds a bit.

Had the same problem with my tac8 a while back, just loosen up the back grip screw a little and it should be just fine.

When mine came back from Tiberius the three main screws were incredibly tight, and I had two mags that were difficult to remove.

After I reassembled the gun, all my mags insert and eject easily.

I'll try that.

FYI it was all mags (have 8 of them). Didn't leak or anything, just hard to get in/out.

OK that help a bit but still sticks. I can see that the nipple is rubbing on the side of the port.

On another note, 3 out of the 4 T8s I have are cracked on the very back of the plastic frame.

Unfortunatly that cracking is fairly common. The main reason is over tightening the rear grip bolt. The next ime you have them apart, use a good super glue or epoxy and let it set.You don`t need to crank the bolt too tight when you put them back together .
