Once I do, I will relay the results. I am thinking about measuring "groupings" from the stock to this barrel. I expect the groupings of shots will be much tighter than from the stock barrel but we will see. I am very eager to test it out.
I'd appreciate it if you'd shoot some regular paint through it as well and compare those groupings to the stock barrel with regular paint. I'm curious as to whether it'll just behave like an overbore or not.

It's not suppose to be used with regular paint. Lapco said that regular paint shoots 'funny'. This barrel is to be used primarily with FS but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try a mag with regular paint. However I don't expect it to shoot well at all. For regular paint I recommend the Lacpo str8 shot for the 8.1/9.1. Paint shoots VERY straight and far through that thing.

I got a chance to test this at Decay of Nations '10. Without optics it was kinda difficult to hit much with the first shot, but once I took a few shots and know where its shooting, I was able to hit the pie plate at maybe 75 yards three times in eight rounds. Not too shabby but I've never tried any shooting with just the Lapco straightshot to compare it to. Eager to see testing.

I'm aware of the caution regarding shooting regular paint(it's printed on the barrel) however I'd read some speculation that rifling would create the same conditions as an over-bore and have zero impact on accuracy. Tom Kaye's experiments with spinning barrels at 30k rpm seem to suggest spin has no effect on distance or accuracy so I'm curious how this barrel would fare with normal paint at say 50 feet and 70 feet. It'd be nice to just swap mags for some CQB and not waste the expensive stuff.

I don't know I was expecting something somewhat deeper I guess, that the fins would mesh with... But I guess that's kind of silly since that would shred the front end of the round...
