Any thing new to add about this barrel? What's the verdict now? I want to cut one up for my side ARM

There's loads of stuff you can change- rate of twist, hexagonal style versus grooved, depth of 'valley's, height of 'hills', spacing of grooves, etc. LAPCO and Tiberius claim that this particular design is optimized for FS. So, the question is, how different is the Hammerhead literally from the LAPCO. Based on all the pictures I've seen, they certainly look similar but, I wouldn't go so far as to call them the same.

I can't compare directly by switching barrels but, My T9.0 with a LAPCO .690 FS barrel is a lot more consistant than my T9.1 with the Tiberius/LAPCO Rifled FS barrel. I also have not tried coating the inside with rain-X to cut down on fouling which is much worse in the rifled barrel.

Rain-X: that stuff that helps rain bead off your windshield

It's not my idea, I have not tried it. It was suggested on the TA forums.

That sounds like it could be a really good idea. Do you know how long it stays on?

No clue. I think it was recommended for re-application after a weekend of play or something. The key thing that was stressed to me was to be sure your barrel was totally clean before starting.
