Ahh, the battery. Hooligan had a simple, yet elegant solution for that. Under barrel accessory like a tac-light or laser, gutted to hold 9v worth of batteries.

For the plate, I was figuring just the mounting holes in the plate for the screws to go through and into the shoulder pad. no need to thread them, but of you can recess the holes, that would be awesome. I'll probably make the shoulder part of wood, so i'll just put wood screws through the holes. Hope this rambling makes sense.

they are aimable by eye. If you are getting a scope, you WILL need one of the adjustable rail (AMR?) that lets you tilt the scope.

How would you mount a scope on a 8.1?

As for the concerns on shoot-down, i've been able to sustain 10+ bps mechanically with my lightened trigger on my T9. I've never noticed shoot down then. Unless you try for a stupid high ROF, i'm sure the marker can cope.

I like the battery idea. I definately want an electric T8.

Also, unless you have a specific wood screw size in mind, I'll just scrounge through some drawers and pick a beefy looking screw to take dimensions from. I should be able to take care of that tomorrow.

plate did arrive, looks awesome! I'm going to use a board I have lying around, but I need to order the solenoid to go to the next step. I'll do my T9 first, and then my SA-8.

Sorry about delays, wife was in hospital which put a financial crunch on us that will take a few months to recover from, but this WILL get done.

Ok, just making sure USPS didn't eat it. It tends to do that sometimes.

I've had a few ideas of my own that I will eventually give a try after a few projects are outa the way.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
