T9/9.1 Removable Top rail??

Hey, just wanted to know whether or not the top rail on the t9/9.1 are removable. I lurking a while ago and remember seeing conflicting information

Original, early runs of T9's, top rail was not removable (my T9 for example).

Later T9's, usually sold as the T9 ST (for "soft touch" bolt), top rail is removable.

All T9.1's, top rail is removable.

I was woundering the same thing, anyone have a pic with the top rail removed? How different does it look compared to a 8.1.

Hard to sight with nothing on top though, T8 works best for the pistol unless you can mod some sights on top.

The 9.1 comes with "iron sights" you can install for when you take off the rail.

o gosh. Removable rail and installable iron sights? I think the universe is telling me to buy a t9.1.
My wallet isnt gonna like this.

the T9 ST is that same. it has the notches to fit front and rear sights just like a T8
