All options are great, but I oped for an old spec ops drop holster. It is one of the few options that covers your barrel when holstered.I think this is a great safety option and in my opinion should be required on all holsters.Paintball safety rules state that all markers off the field will have a barrel blocking device. You can't just sling your marker on your back without a barrel bag right??

In tiger stripe. I had gotten it for another vest, but it didn't work well for it. So I tossed it on upside-down on the NXe and found I like it like that.

No option for a left hand draw
That would have been very cool.

I use old style barrel plugs on them for when not on the field. I find that barrel bags sometimes catch on the holster when you draw them off the field... making them less safe. I've heard a few people attach barrel bags onto the bottom of their holsters.

When I run private games with the pistol collection... I just enforce holstering and using the retention straps when not playing. I don't have quite enough old classic plugs yet for everyone. And haven't taken the time to attach bag to all of the holsters.

One comment on the kydex, like the skunkworks one.
I have it on the back of my P3 belt for reference, angled for left handed draw.
Unholstering one handed is doable, but requires a good bit of thumb pressure to push down on it. But it holsters very easily and quickly.
So it makes a great holster for your primary gun, but not the quickest emergency draw for a secondary.

also I just leave a large lapco barrel bag over the end of the barrel, so I can draw and holster and not bag it.

It really is a great holster! I've got one and it's adaptable to many different guns. I used it for my Boxgun when I had it and now that I've just picked up a Tib8, I'll use it for that!

Kendakye Enterprises - Coffin Molle Holster Ambidexterous (KCMHA) Multicam

I did a lot of product testing and R&D with these guys. Great products. All authentic camo patterns. Just another option to consider.

nice, how is the barrel end of that holster?

oh also, something I do like about the kydex ones, barrel attachments like loudeners don't get caught when unholstering like they do on more open ended cloth holsters.

I agree. I went with an APP holster and sowed the bottom also. Its a left handed holster mounted on the back side of the belt.

I have since swapped in some WTF mag holders for the ones pictures. Someday I'll take new pictures.

Just a heads up- that BT Holster I got isn't really MOLLE compatible, the belt loops on top sit in between the Molle row so it's pretty wobbly . I'm sure it works great on belt loop setups, but on my rack/rig it's not so beuno. ORdered up the old NXE holster, if anyone wants a Tan BT holster PM me.

Now to buy some multicam material to cover this thing, where do you guys purchase multicam by the yard?

Really? I had it in a Mollee vest before I got rid of the vest. It was able to securely hold my Boxgun and those aren't light.
