Exclamation Strange t8 shooting issue

When I go to shoot my t8, i put a new 12 gram in the mag and fill it with brand new paint. I might get 1 or 2 normal shots off, but then the next ball drops severely or might not shoot at all and makes a "chugging" sound. This keeps happening at random. i've already oil'ed everything thoroughly and all parts are in order and in excellent condition. The velocity is turned all the way clockwise so I don't understand what could be the problem! Please help!

you will need to disassemble and service your regulator. When I've done that, I use alot of oil in the reg. It makes a mess of your barrel for a 12g or so, but has allways served me good.

Try loading a fresh 12g, and firing every 10 seconds. bet it should fire fine, but 'chug' if you try to fire rapidly.

Make sure your reg's airways are completely clear and you are using the correct oring in the valve sleeve.

I was just having the same problem with my T8. I guess I'll try what has been suggested so far.

There's an air passage behind the brass plunger in the regulator that sometimes gets a nice big burr that covers up the air passage and starves you're firing chamber of air. You need to take the tiny screw on the side of your reg block that has the trigger components off and stick an allen wrench down there. Take the velocity adjuster nut out and pull the spring and brass plunger off to see where the allen pokes out inside of the regulator. If you see a little flap of metal stuck to the air passage, pull that sucker out with tweezers or work it out with your allen. Should solve your problem.

Hi,

Where exactly would this burr be?

I'll see about getting a picture tutorial up tonight. It's probably easier than explaining it. But in general, check all your passages. Any blockage in the air passages will give you the same symptom.
