Riffled Barrel for the T9?

I know that the t9.1 series has a barrel from tiberius that is riffled for the FS rounds (not Fair) and there is nothing for the T9. Not everyone wants to buy a whole new marker just so that can use the Rifled barrel. i feel that its a waste of money. Is there anyway i can mod the t9.1 barrel so that it will fit onto my T9. Tiberius Tech support says there is no way i could even if i had the machine and tools to do it. >.< now i want to scream. the only option i have available to me is getting a str8 shot for the FS rounds. Anyone know of a way around this crapola

There are many reasons why they had to change the barrel style for the 9.1/8.1 ... and they are going to focus the new rifled barrel product on the current supply of 9.1s.

That being said it looks like milsig has what you crave:

If its just the being thicker it can be made smaller to fit.

Gotta be careful about that. even if you did have the lathe setup to turn down the diameter you might very well run into the rifling groove before you get the diameter small enough, and destroy a very expensive barrel in the process. Other that that I'm pretty sure there are other differences between the T9 and T9.1 barrels.

LoL... you are joking right?

Milsig sells direct to U.S. customers and is well known for their high quality (and expensive) mag feed milsim markers. They are a direct competitor to RAP4's cheaper but often nicknamed "cRAP4" mag feed markers.

Might want to google a bit before you make accusations of a scam: Here.

I don't think it's just a matter of depth. It's a matter of structural stability during the manufacturing process.

For example, let's say you cut the rifling first, then you turn down the O.D. Then you go to cut the locking grooves. Will there be enough metal between the bottom of the locking groove and the valleys in the rifling for it not to warp or bend during the locking groove cuts? The same would be true if you did it in reverse (locking grooves then rifling).

With my 9.1 Rifled barrel, I can see evidence (on the inner bore) of where they cut the locking groove. It's faint but, unmistakable.

Im just going to call Lapco and see if they can take the riffled barrelf or the .1 series and make it fit for a T9 (custom job). I hope they can without charging me an arm/leg for it. =]. Dam i did some looking with the MilSig thing, thoes markers are BOSS. worth the money if they shot FS rounds. That sniper system is Cherry =]
