Try a few 12grams. You may have gotten a random half-filled one. To answer your Q tho, no they are not all created equal. Leland sells the highest quality and cheapest 12 grams but you have to buy 450 of them. I bought the case. WELL worth it for the like $175 it costs (about 38 cents apiece). All other brands have less than regular amounts of liquid inside and they have oils which are not the best for your gun in them. Go Lelnd. The case will last you a LONG time.

Well, to start there is no industry standard for the size of the cartridge IIRC. They're all around the same dimensions, but they're not exactly the same. You can test this by trying to fit 12ies in a 10-round tube. The ones i buy from canadian tire slide right in, but the MOSA ones i just ordered don't even come close to fitting. Ergo, the MOSA's are bigger. Whether thats just a thicker wall, or more internal volume I'm not sure. Then there's food grade and regular. Food grade cartridges do not contain any of the dirt or oil that can get into JT or crossman 12 grams. I prefer these because it reduces the amount of junk that gets into your reg/marker. Just yesterday, CJ dropped off my order of MOSA 12ies. I tested them against JT and crosman 12 grams, and it went like this: (I didn't test using a chrono, just listened to the sound. I used re-balls to test. There are no efficiency mods done to my T8's. All tests were done on the same T8, with the same mag.) AVERAGES: (Tested with 4 12ies each) Crosman: 21 Usable Shots JT: 19 Usable Shots MOSA: 25 Usable Shots As you can see, the MOSA got the best shot count on average.

If you're firing fast with a semi pistol in winter, you might have to wait longer between shots to get a good count.
