So from that trigger assembly dissasemble vid I determoined I was missing the trigger return spring on my T9. What would be the consequences of this?

Just want to confirm that the problems I am having are from this (which Im sure they are).

What I am dealing with is the gun seals fine when aired up but when I pull the trigger, nothing happens at all if the barrel is installed. If the barrel is removed, it shoots and then of course empties the cartridge down he bolt.

In my experience, missing anything in the trigger group causes crazy headaches.

Im not sure how you managed to fire it without a barrel, that's some gypsy magic lol. The reason why it would empty out the bolt is because it relies on the large spring between the bolt and the barrel to reset after each shot.

I would suggest replacing all the missing parts, and then going from there.
Also, check to make sure the bolt is forward when reasembling. Big thing there.

If the barrel is off, it shouldn't vent until you pull the trigger. Which, if its not shooting at all with the barrel on, shouldn't be a trigger problem. However, which spring are you missing? #13?

At Smith, ye I knew it would vent if barrel was not attched because of that. Just thought it was weird tho that it would fire that shot without the barrel (dry fire obviosly) but pulling the trigger does nothing at all with the barrel installed.

Echo, you are correct both times. It only vents with the barrel off if I pull the trigger, otherwise it is sealed nicely. And yes, that is the spring I am missing, #13. Not sure how I lost it lol.

I know that that spring would make it so that you would have to manually push your trigger forward and then pull for it to shoot. Basically all it does is reset the rotator (#4) in the sear. At that point it should shoot after you pull the trigger, barrel or not. What could be happening is the rotator isn't engaged with the sear, because there isn't a return spring to reset it, and in removing the barrel you could have inadvertently moved the trigger enough to reset the rotator.
