Honestly this one had me a little stumped, but I figured out what the issue is. Tiberius never designed the spring arm to function with an index finger release. When you install the index finger release the spring arm is putting too much tension on the mag release and makes it stick.

Here is a simple test for you to try to see if the spring arm is applying too much tension on the mag release.

Install the mag release, but leave the spring arm in the large slot where the mag slides through. The spring arm should not be touching the mag release and the mag release should slide smoothly back and forth.

Here is a picture to illustrate what I'm talking about. See how the spring arm is not appluing any pressure to the mag release.

If your spring arm IS pushing down on the mag release take a pair of needle nose pliers and bend it out a little bit. The spring arm is pretty strong so don't worry. I was twisting and bending mine for over an hour trying to figure this out.

Push the spring arm into place and test it. The mag release should operate much better and be snap back into place without sticking.

Use the needle nose pliers to push the hook of the spring arm into place. It will fit.

Let me know if this solves your problem. My mag release actually works much better now.

Ya I spent like 2 hours messing around with that spring, when I put the hook in the same direction you had in the picture the mag still wiggles out with ease and when there is air in it it almost spit the mag out as soon as I put it in.......I have been messing with it now my mag release is damaged and worn down on the top from the mags sliding on it, now it dosnt matter how I have the spring the mag still wiggles out and when it has air in it the second I take my first shot my mag and all my balls come flying out.

I'll be posting picture of my mag release soon to show how much it has been worn down due to the mags being able to slip by, like its supost to be straight and it worn down almost to a 45 dagree angle causeing the mags to slide out with even more ease.

I'll probably end up trying to file the top of the mag release to make it straight again but then the mag with sit lower when locked in place...maybe the nipple wont reach the co2 port in the mag though....then again its worth a shot I spent alot of money for that tiny pieace of aluminum.

If your not happy with it by all means feel free to return it and I will refund your money in full. Would you like to try a different one? I can send you a new one if the old one is damaged.

Sorry that it's not working out for you. Sometimes It's hard to diagnose the issue over the internet without having the gun in front of me.

I just want to double check something. Does the slot on your mags where the mag release catches go all the way through or is it just cutout on one side. You have to mod the .1 mags for the index releases to work.

Let me know what you would like to do.

If you could PM me your shipping details or email me a link to the orginal PayPal transaction.

I also sent you a PM.

I'd just like to briefly share my experiences with the killjoy mag-release from the weekend event I've just finished: throughout the entire two-day event and several mag changes (my 8.1 is all I use), the release held it's own perfectly.
Didn't have a single issue with it all day, and it felt very stable and rugged.

Thanks again for solving that spring issue for me, it was well worth it. Highly recommended!

Well, I ordered an index and got a thumb......not happy at all. The best part was that I only found out after I had my gun in pieces. Shipping was fast though, and if I wanted a thumb release, it looks good!

So I just installed my new Killjoy index mag release. It has a sharpish square edge that bites into my finger unlike my Betasniper index release which is rounded at the point of finger contact.

Is mine aberrant or are they all like this? If so is the Lapco index release rounded at the point of contact?

I'm tempted to remove this release clamp it in my vice and have at it with a file, but I'll hold off for a bit in case this one is just a dud...
