Gear will depend on how you want to play. Do you prefer gear safe behind you or easily accessible in front?

Just gonna talk pistol holsters for a second as an example-nylon=cheap, folds up small, requires more attention(maybe two hands) to reholster.
-kydex=harder to get, doesn't compress under weight, easy reholster.
-leather=mix of both

What does it mean? Kydex is great for a holster behind your back and reholstered with only one hand but can be painful if you have it under your armpit and jump into a bunker.

Think about what you want on your person, where you want it and what you want it made of.

I have played around with all kinds of pouches, cheap straps holsters shoulder rigs etc. Mixed and match and fiels tested. Then go for custom order.

I'm a small guy and I don't have the space to carry around a bunch of mags on my vest. So I ended up carrying loose FSR's in an eye glass case and reload whenever I get the chance.



BTW, I really like the surplus Moisan Nagant leather case. I may have to try those.

As long as you don't STUFF it full, it protects the fs rounds without squeezing them. Plus it's just cool

Those milsig T8 mag holsters look awesome though.

In all seriousness tho, which do you like better (performance wise) FS or sniper fins? The fins are soooo much cheaper, reusable (technically) and it would be fun to make your own rounds like true snipers.

^yes lol just to see what would happen. If I had fins I'd glue a couple to FSRs to see if they'd fly funny or not
