You are correct skullcandy. Tiberius made the internals interchangeable with the 8.1/9.1's.

Cheers for the pics rippinamg, very clarifying. Does the T4.1 separate upper and lower the same way as the T4? Would be very nice to see a pic of the upper and lower separated, is it fast to tear down for maintenance and cleaning?

Yes it does.

Also from a maintenance standpoint, the most important improvements were done internally. The T4.1 bolt and air chamber, as well as trigger group and regulator components are now the same as the T8.1/T9.1. This means that those parts for all 3 are interchangeable allowing for current T8.1/T9.1 owners easier maintenance if they decide to pick up a T4.1.

Thanks a bunch both Gio and rippinamg! Does spitting the receivers allow access to the barrel from the inside for quick cleaning, seems on the pictures of the internals that they are connected to the lower receiver?

Mikke,

You can remove the barrel without taking both parts apart; there is a lock button on the bottom that releases the barrel.

That is subjective. Although they would perform very similar the 4.1 has different and higher capacity mags, different look (AR style and can use real AR hardware if desired). So in the end just like most other things, it's a personal preference.
