Even though I'm not typically a fan of "solid" holsters, the CQB one I had a while back was exceptional in speed and ease of draw/reholster. One of these days I'll get around to having someone build me something similar for my Zeus. Cool to see that Tib has picked them up and that they'll continue to be sold.

Funny thing is ... That is NOT the Tiberius BRAND holster. That is CQB (Toronto)'s original CQB holster ...

The pictures you see in my store were provided to me by Tiberius. It is their holster not the Toronto holster. Regarding the whole debate about the design, I don't know so I can't offer any info on that.

Oh, looks like the CQB badge on the side, but I could be wrong.

I could see this working well mounted on the front of a vest/panel in a vertical crossdraw position. It wouldn't hang out to the side to get caught on anything and you could always mount a bungie to your MOLLE for additional retention.

And... if this is made with Kydex... Kydex can be tricky stuff. If it retains too well you can always heat it a little with a heat gun or hair dryer on high and soften the holster enough to open it up for an easier draw. But Kydex can be a dirt/grit magnet if you are in a dirty environment... but it attracts dirt the same as any other holster.. but will retain it less than other materials. If you pull a rag through it between games you can basically dust it and keep it clean.

Sorry... I can't read... I only look at the picture So, it's injection molded? Not the end of the world and there are ways to customize fit (DO NOT USE OPEN FLAMES!!!!) Cleaning would still be the same.. but it will wear more on a gun if the finish is too tight... and injection polymer seems to be less slick than Kydex.

This is the same exact holster as the CQB tactical, just branded differently. Here's the thread on this very forum: CQB Tiberius T8/8.1 Tactical Holster & Dbl Mag Holder

My understanding is that Romulus hadn't the ability to market them as effectively as he'd have liked and was sitting on surplus inventory hence the new brand. I think Tiberius is the right company to market this product. I hope Romulus made out ok.

The holster is plastic, I believe it to be ABS. In regards to durability I've not broken or damaged mine yet though I did have some concerns initially. Holstering and drawing requires very little thought or effort. Retention is excellent. I have observed residue on the barrel shroud/upper receiver of my pistols. Scratching might occur if some grit were embedded although I haven't had that happen yet. If you want your pistol to remain beautiful forever this product may not be right for you.

I own two(for the price of 1!). I really like mine, IMO it's THE best holster for a Tiberius pistol. Now you guys need to step up and make a lefty version.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was saying and I'm glad you brought it up from personal experience with this particular product. The same occurs with real steel and the plastic holsters. If the finish is a good finish (ano or or other coating) it should be fine and the holster will see more wear than your gun (unless you are drawing a lot... like 100s and 100's of times).. the real wear issues on both the gun and the holster will occur with the introduction of crud. Keep everything as clean as possible and you should be good to go for a long time.
