Question about T9.1 and standard paint (non-FS)

I see there is a hopper attachment, but have read it doesnt work really well. Are there standard paint mags for the T9.1 as well as FS mags? So in theory (if I had enough mags) I could play either paint type?

If the question is yes, how does the T9.1 do with standard paint?

The Mag for the x.1 guns (and First strike Mags for the x.0 markers) will work with standard paint.
the 9.1 works fine with standard paint (and I hear that the hopper attachment works well with a powered hopper)

i heard it's the detent on the barrel preventing the balls from droping down properly. take out one or both detent and they say it should work fine.

only one detent! The mags can switch easily between the two you don't even really need to swap the springs (although recommended).

The 9.1 will fire regular paint the same as every other gun. You might want to adjust velocity when switching or your regular paint will shoot about 30 fps slower than the fsr due to it being less aerodynamic. Really this isn't a big deal as regular paint is for the close up and personal work

If you do run the elbow BLUE loctite the adapter screws in as they are prone to coming lose. And like one of the above posters stated a force fed hopper has much more consistent feeding.

Don't forget NOT to use the red (FS) springs in the magazines.

Some paint balls really don't like it!

I use standard paint via mags all the time in my 9.1, mostly because the scenario games i go to tend to be FPO.
