quick loading fs mags

There's gotta be a quicker way to reload mags with fsr.Sitting with a handful on the field hand loading them sucks.A single square no spring mag will work with a little tab at the top to push the retainer outta the way and drop those badboys in.Kinda like a ten rnd tube but square.I am on the hunt any thoughts??

I was thinking the same thing. I can't imagine it would be very difficult to find a tube that fits the first strikes, and maybe build an insert? Or maybe just 3d print or fashion a tube?

If you could find square tube, you could do something similar to this (although the size would have to be JUUUUST right to keep the rounds from tipping nose down). I saw some other guys on the site making 10rd tube replacements, but thought I could do better with teeth to retract the retainer and spring (rubber band) loaded clips.

Made from PVC conduit, same length as a 150rd pod and narrow enough to fit into the mouth of one as well (pull back the rubber band, and flip the clips around). It works pretty good, the biggest issue is the clips stick out further than the teeth, so if you're careless handling it it's easy to dump a tube of paint on the ground.

Edit: Holds 48 rounds, too

That's the best re-loader I've seen yet freedummy, I'm going to have to copy your design now.

Sorry this is getting off topic now, since this wouldn't work for first strike at all, but I had one more piece cut which was too short. Now for loading mags in the staging area!

Here's one word of warning I'll give anyone who wants to make some of these... The retaining clip is tricky. Too small, and balls rolling down the tube can pop out past it (like on my tri-tube version, the ramp only catches 1/4 of the ball). Too big, and it sticks out further and doesn't engage with the magazine as nicely (like on the hopper version, but catches more than 1/2 of the ball). Hope that makes sense!

I've got some Kydex lying around and have been looking for a project anyway. Maybe I'll try to put something together. Still think it'd be easier to 3d print it - went to the 3dprintingforpaintball subreddit and posted the question there to see if any of the 3d printing wizards have already tried it.

Again, amazing mods, Freedummy
