Would you run with a hopper more often if they were more easily switched out?
Got to thinking while I was playing with my 9.1 - the last game I ran, I swapped to hopper fed because I was running low on firsties (I usually use a 50 round pistol hopper.)
It's a pretty big PITA to swap from hopper to mag, which is why I don't do it as often, and also why I have a hopper-specific marker (Custom 98), but someone else was using it at the time.
Has anyone here with more manufacturing talent than I have thought of doing some sort of 'quick-swap' mechanism for hopper-to-mag fed? Maybe a small attachment to the picatinny rail that would either completely replace the feedneck, or just hold pressure on the plate/feedneck like the screws would?
Just curious if A) it's out there, or B) enough people would want one to make it worth making.

I've been thinking about a way to swap between magazines and a tube feed on the fly. You could just flip a switch on the tube and shut off tube feed to run first strike. Rotate the barrel and flip the switch and you're running normal paint.
It wouldn't be too difficult to make a bracket like you're saying, but I don't think the interest is there.
