Also, I prefer these kydex holsters that use the trigger guard for retention. I don't care for the retention straps with the button snaps. Hip and leg might be okay for them cause you can get two hands to it easily, but when you have the holsters up high, one handed re-holstering if very important to me. But you do sacrifice the holsters not collapsing under pressure

What kind of holster do you have on the small of your back? Do you have any pics of that setup? that would be ideal for me as I feel like that placement is super comfy and the most practical for me on my frame.

It's another kydex one, Drilled the holes so the holster/grip is angled better for left handed draw.

I use a $10 "impact driver" holster from Fred Meyer...it has a forward pitch that works great for my T-8 w/extendos!!!

+1 for the full clip. I run two pistols and both of my leg holsters are full clip. The slide in smoothly and fit like a glove =D

I ended up finding a good deal on here for a tiberius drop leg holster with a single mag carrier and a three mag drop leg carrier, so I will run that for a bit and see how it treats me. I really like the look of the full clip gear too though so that may be an upgrade for me down the road. Thanks for the tip though!

If the drop leg mag carrier is the Tiberius variety you may want to implement some sort of restraint, bungees perhaps. The mags will really move around when you run, crouch crawl etc. You don't want to lose those mags in the rough.
