tiberius 9/9.1 questions

whats the difference between a 9/9.1? i know its FS compatibility, but what i mean is, is the breech not "D" shaped? if so could you use FS mags and file out a D shaped breech?

The 9 requires a fs bolt and spring...and "D" mags
The 9.1 is set up for fs, don't think you have to change things, but "D" mags, obviously!

well yes, d mags are one thing, but i meant the platform in particular. what are the components that separates a 9 from a 9.1? breech? bolt? i can only imagine that the breech isnt D shaped. which leads to my original question. can i just file out a t9 breech to accommodate FS rounds?

think you have to file down the tip of the bolt so it will slip into the back of the fs round. take a look at what's included in the fs upgrade kit and you should get an idea on what you need.

You can convert a T9 to first strike, but you can not add HPA stock to T9.

T9 are much easier to remove the stock than the T9.1 T9 stock snaps in. T9.1 screws in and has a locking screw.

If you plan on running remote line, T9.1 has an air port available at the bottom rear of the valve. T9 has to use the remote adopter in the magazine.

The only benefit I see with the T9 is the ability to remove the stock on the fly while in combat, so you can be tighter to the bunker.

Lots of modding going on just get a 9.1 and your options are there for everything.

im realizing that. i thought it would be cheaper if i got a 9 and changed the breech shape (which i guess is just the barrel and then file the bolt a bit i could save a bit. but id probs just mess it up

Keep an eye out for 9.1's with all the mag feed mainia tiberius prices are tending to fall. I have picked them up as low as 200 bucks.Hard to mess around modding a critical piece you could end up messing it up and costing more money in the end.A 9.1 gives you all kinds of barrel option's as well as stock options direct air too.
