A-5 stocks will not fit. I work for Special Ops and we are shipping the X7 stocks to tippmann tomorrow morning so they should be available in less than 2 weeks to your local dealers.

Actually a few A-5 stocks will fit, but require slight modification in order to fit properly.

Modified G36 (A-5) stock on an X7. Not mine, but the guy (ZEUS) is a forum member at the A-5 and X7 Operator forums.

What kind of mods need to be done? I have a CAR for my A5 and I think I would like to have the option to switch it back and forth rather than have 2 stocks.

Thanks for any other info

Here's his response:

As far as the stock.. This version the opsgear G36 has a bit longer attachment arms than other a-5 stocks I found. On this one.. i just re drilled the holes with the stock inside and the pins fit right in. The inside bounce back spring and pin still hit the stock bounce back plate.. The a-5 stocks are a little shorter on the inside but it still works just the same just not as much pressure on the pin now.

This g36 stock is real cheap right now $27.00 bucks at opsgear before the 10% off.
