Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) Its a method of precision cutting, but like tangus999 said, it can be very expensive. Very cool stuff.

I'll check for you on the source of the square tubing that I got at work, see who our supplier is.

The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That , it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. How's this coming along?
I've had a desire to have something that's a mix of a british Sten gun and an AVT-40...

Has the 10 round feed been working?

I was hopeing to get to these this winter break. I should be able to get some work done. That tubbing I found from McMaster came in along while ago, and I got all the milling done on it as soon as it did, but I didn't account for the springs thickness; it fits the clips perfectly enough to use the tube as a blowgun with the clips as ammo. Unfortunately that means the unwound spring doesn't have room and the clips get jammed. I've been toying with the idea of making a broach but I need to make the cut light enough that I can advance it by hand (or mallet) as I don't have a broach press.

*IDEA*
WAIT.
Can you make an extended clip to 10 rounds?

it would solve the jamming and would be what I've been looking for...

Anyone else like this idea?

Wait, what? I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

He must be talking about making 10 round stripper clips. Since the magazine tubes already come in 10,15 and 20 round legnths.

Echo I really like this, the threaded barrel is also a cool add on

I had to drop this project once school started. Even during the various breaks I didn't have time to work on the SMG's. However, it's given me plenty of time to think through some of my current problems and I'm pretty sure I have some good ideas on how to solve them.

Hopefully, *hopefully*, I'll be able to start offering conversions this summer. However, I'm almost positive I said that before LAST summer .

Anyway, I have nobody's money and plan on keeping it that way until the seven SMG-60's in my rafters are turned into SMG-68's and distributed around MCB.
