Can't seem to clear the cob webs...

So my friend (who doesn't play paintball much) and I were talking, and he mentioned that he absolutely hated the front grip on his 98 custom. I think I remember there being some kind of shroud that would let you cover the remaining metal half of the grip if you removed the rubber part. The Problem is that I can't remember what its called, who made it, or where to get it. I'm not even 100% sure I don't just remember a very well done custom mod. So basically what are my options for removing the front grip, or will this be a bandsaw and bondo job?

You're probably confusing the 98 with the ProLite or 68 Carbine or similar, or the expansion chamber kit.

there was an AK 47 kit from Tippmann it came with a front shroud, clip and (crappy) stock. the shroud was one of the most comfortable foregrips ever on a 98. it plugged the old foregrip and hid it with the clip. looked good.
sadly discontinued.
