I had this issuse with mine it turned out that I over tightened the little allen key nut that is located inside the regulator adjustment and I guess I bent the needle. I coulnt figure it out so I turned it over to the local shop and that is what they said with more tech. terms. I believe I did it when I went to adjust the velocity and stuck the allen wrench in to far. hope this helps.

Ok another thought came to mind I also had an issuse where one of the o rings on the valve spool disinagrated on me. that too caused a leak for me. The valve spool is located behind the eclip that hold the back on the air valve body. I would think that it has anything to do with the 12gram seal. It is hard to get the eclips of without two picks or the speacial removal tool but it can be done with two screw drivers(small one).

i had a similar leak with a brand new tipx. Everytime i would puncture it I could hear it losing gas. I could pin point the leak right at where the C02 12 gram would be punctured as it would leak co2 near the trigger and make it cold. A guy in shop took apart the puncture assembly, greased it, cleaned the dirty o ring and reassembled. It was very difficult for him to get the C clip out but he did it! Gun did not leak anymore after that.

I ended up fixing that seal, but it still leaked. I ended up rage-quitting and just throwing it aside. Now, I think Iʻm going to email Tippmann and send it in to them. Iʻm tired of trying to fix guns that I know I canʻt without throwing money at them. Now its just a stock class trracer and Iʻm good to go!

Whoops, missed this one! Baconballer, is that original oring that went bad, ok now? A magnifying glass may be necessary to see a slice in it. I've seen this in cases where the edge of the hole you push that little brass pipe into were too sharp. I took one of these: ![]() the right size and beveled the very edge of the hole a bit. Make sure when you put the brass tube in there to watch for o-rings popping out of their slots to be pinched. A trick I did for a friend's pistol was to get a piece of aquarium hose and make a little short piece that fit over the brass tube. You simply slide the aquarium hose collar over the oring at the end, then as you push the pipe into the valve, the collar is slid out of the way but it holds the oring in place during the process on all sides.
