Putting together a scenario marker

Since I'm a big fan of tippmann and love to mod I've been cooking up a scenario marker that would use internals from a 98 and a couple parts from a A5 to have a bottom mag fed marker with an internal gas supply in the stock. Was wondering if anyone was interested in me making more for others?

I already made a side fed adapter to use RAP4 mags on a 98.

You know that Rap4/ Tacamo has already done this right??
But i sure would love to see what you come up with!!

RAP4 and Tacamo sure haven't made a "clip on" mag feed adapter like he has in the above photo...

holy crap thats awesome, does it work well? Id love to have a side fed model 98! would be badass if you could get a wood shroud made then you could have something like an FG-42:

my advice? make more of those adapters and sell them. there are TONS of cheap model 98's out there that people who want to get into limited paint a bit more cheaply could use. hell, I would buy one, and Ive sworn off tippy's.

paintman161, yea I know they already made one, I do plan to make mine more customizable. Plus for any Halo fans it will look almost exactly like a M392. I also want to make it so that the mag well can be changed out to use other mags. I need to get my hands on a Tiberius Arms mag, like the one from a T4.

Wrongbloke, thanks, yea works fine, but there are still more adjustments I want to make. I don't want to make something and have someone not be happy about it. It's kind of a pride thing since I love the modify anything I get my hands on, it's why I like cars, computers and paintball markers =P The FG-42 is awesome, I also was thinking of trying to make a Sterling SMG also. Bummer part is that it seems like they all are fed on the left side, I guess cuz they figure most people shoot right handed. I also like the idea of less paint use, kind of tired of guys just sitting back in scenario games and raining paint like there is no tomorrow.

tomdabmb, did you need the side fed adapter?

A little progress on the new scenario marker

Right now I'm working on a new hard steel line to make a cheap alternative to the flexi line they have from RAP4 cuz I hate how it cost like 80+ bucks for a tube and a fitting. Not sure how people feel about it, but forgot to mention that it'll use a barrel adapter from the A5.

Nifty, is that a SLA? Concept looks good, have you contacted any of the smaller after market companies about your idea?

Not familiar with the SLA term? Which company do you have in mind, I imagine most companies once I show them they'll just make their own and cut me out. It's a simple idea, just needs measurements, lol. I just ordered some ball plungers for the mag well so it doesn't have to use that key.
