there is no way i could use all these , but they are fun to play with and modify...can be picked up reasonably....will keep me entertained during this long recovery....parts are inexpensive and fairly easy to get .. . and theres always that bulletproof reliability of the tippmann marker ......

i kept
-1 mag
- 1 phantom
- i cocker
- 1 spyder ( the pbn mom jan 2010)

** i know capt'n america like a mutha - right ???!? ..LOL
- my only explanation is i was watching alot of easy rider at that time ..LOL

and of course all my brass eagle markers from my collecting - gun whoring days

** and all my tippmanns

Nice work!

Doing a similar restoration on an old M98, so old it has the adjustable for windage rear sight. When I got it, the rear bolt was so badly pitted that it wouldn't move. I had another one from when I converted another 98 to e-bolt, dropped it in, lubed everything and it fired beautifully. I am thinking I really should get a new power tube, though. The one it came with with is aluminum and has a dent in the part the front bolt slides over. I'm painting mine flat OD green similar to yours, although being a non-custom it will not be ROF upgraded. It'll be a good loaner or something to turn a buck on. I got it along with a 98 Platinum ACT (completely working, no restoration needed at all) that came with a flatline and a CAR stock for... $50 for the pair. I couldn't believe the guy was serious about the sale. He just wanted out of paintball that badly.

If you go back to walmart... they have this nice spray paint called italian olive. That is the color you're probably looking for, it's in matte.
