Phenom leak

Just got a Phenom on Ebay and guess what? It leaks...

I've disassembled and lubed the whole thing a couple times now and it's now a smaller leak, but it's still leaking. It's leaking from the allen key hole on the back of the velocity adjuster.

Any ideas? I've already gone through all of the troubleshooting sections I could find (PBN, X7OG).

Been there done that, then I called Tippmann.

Tippmann sent me a replacement air threw grip line - problem fixed. From what I've read it's a known issue.

Update on my fix- last week-end I had the same issue again.

Here is the fix from tippmann that helped me.

Sounds like your regulator vent post is out of adjustment. I recommend turning the regulator vent post in until it stops then backing it off a ¼ turn. You can also use red loc-tite on the threads of the vent post to help secure it and keep it from vibrating loose. If you still hear a leak after performing this procedure. I would then check the spool spacer o rings for any type of damage.

The vent post comes unthreaded from the Reg piston. This is why it has an allen head opening on the back side of it. You will put the loc tite on the threads of the vent post.
