another beautiful mess of a 98 arrives.......

another beautiful mess of a 98 arrived today ..... craigslist marker

according to previous owner - it was found in a ditch at a local woodsball site many years back - him and his buddy tried to use it , but it didnt work so they tossed it in thier closet for a couple years , then the buddy moved out owing him rent money so he sold it to me .......i paid 40 bux

- bonus - it came with a 32 degrees whisper barrel and a response trigger set up ( needs a new oring) - barrel was completly clogged with old dried mud ..LOL

- was so caked with old paint i had to actually pry it apart - the feedneck was frozen in place - the detent was superglued in place - RT was non functional - valve leaks - ect..ect...ect.... a wonderful mess indeed

These things take so much hate and lack of love for so long. And yet they still throw paint. They are truly incredible for survivability.

Honestly I kinda think $40 is a bit high but then why not? (I have found similar deals for $20 lol).

But congrats man! Thxs for loving on her!~

Do you have any completed "after" pics of your 98s? How many have you done so far?

I am also a sucker for deals on Tippmanns, although I do bite on A5s from time to time as I'm a big fan of cyclone feeds.
