So far the design is complete, we just have to get one milled and test the thing properly. I can't wait to get the first one made.

Other reason I couldn't use polymer. There's some areas where the polymer would have issues standing up to wear. There's only one screw necessary for holding the entire mag together with the aluminum. Otherwise it slides into place against the other piece of aluminum into the catches miled on the sides. The single screw is placed near the bottom of the mag. This gave back some space for the paintballs that was previously stolen in the plastic design. A thinner lock system running down milled slot at the back of the mag gave back a little more space, resulting in enough room for a great staggered design.

As per your suggestion with impact damage, I'm gonna make sure the very bottom is the heaviest part of the mag. I can plasti-dip, or rubberize, the ends to prevent serious damage from hitting harder surfaces (Unlikely I'll be playing anywhere this will matter, but still worth investing in).
and this is why Tippmann went to a 7 round non staggered mag.

Lever changer is possible I was wondering if anyone had a lever changer I could borrow for the development stages. I would pay for shipping and would greatly appreciate it, we just need to see how they work. Also looks like we are leaning toward a solid body with you being able to quick strip the main internals and have detachable grip. Let me know on the lever changer, I guess just pm me. Also working on a non lever changer addition as well.

I have a spare one of these I havn't done anything with.

Dukie still uses them on his DSG's but with a longer lever.

I still don't really like the idea of more metal mags. I was serious about having trouble wearing 6 aluminum tac8 mags. And this is with a full speedball style belt(P3 pack).
Also with it falling, the heavier it is the harder it will hit. It may not fall faster but the extra mass will do the whole extra force thing. And then you have to make it even heavier by adding rubber?

A lever changer would be cool but not required.
Lose the finger grooves for sure. Add the ability to add .45grips?
In a new receiver the ability to add real gun sights would be nice too.
Also we are going for the whole pistol break down in 3 pieces and not a clam shell. So more like a real pistol so easy to clean and field strip. Thanks for the idea. Also we will not be doing anything with magazines right away or for a long time. The shell and the lever changer is enough on my plate as is. So sorry for going off track but thanks for all the ideas and help so far. Will update you guys with some more when I have it.

Already getting a drawing for the 45 style grip. Let me know what you think so far and we are working on the 3d image as well.

Nice, maybe add a bit of a hump to the rear of the grip?

I find rear humps very comfy and help keep the barrel up naturally.
