Not trying to be a stick in the mud, just concerned about that seeming like it doesn't have proper protection from the elements.
Haven't even started the body yet, just ideas but will sure keep this in mind.

It was really the only part missing from those 3d gens and the drawing. I was a little concerned with how close the poppet was to the sidewall and was wondering what that meant for this linkage.

Just a suggestion, It's not really mounted to the poppet, it's floating, but it will need a side plate to keep it from being exposed and prevent debris from screwing up the poppet or the trigger assembly. I am starting to see where the body is going.

Going out on a limb, but when I think of simple gun takedown, I love thinking of the Barretta 92FS. A simple push, flip, and slide. If the top could be unified and the rear air connection could be Designed as a friction/surface seal between the reg and the reservoir. A top and bottom receiver.

Unfortunately the safety issues are enormous at that point. Accidental separation of top and bottom receiver. Something like a locking pin or two that will be nearly impossible to remove under pressure, but I'd still be a little skeptical. Just an idea.

Awesome cant wait to see the body design..
It would be cool to keep the same a5 barrel thread because they have good barrel option for the tpx. And the timmy detents are the best choice i think ... This is getting good every minute

Another note: The breech block could be made interchangeable. Thinking about how the RTR gargoyles work. You could just make the alternate feed blocks, designed to fit a shape in the slide. The barrel would be the restraint to hold the block in tight.

As of right now we are going to go with the one piece upper body. But we will see what happens. Will update you guys with more when I have it.

You mean like the default Tippmann detent?

IMHO, there is no reason to change it.
It's functional as is, and I have dozens of them lying around...

Also, please leave the breech block alone...I rather like my FS modded blocks.

I should of added efficient to that list. Adding a cocker detent gives you almost another mag from a 12 gram.

I like the First Strike point you brought up. The breach should be able to accept First Strike rounds.

My advice would be a Mini/Axe detent, though it may require one on each side, as I found out when cocker-detenting my TPX. Small paint can sneak past a single ball + spring detent if jarred by running/fast movement.
