Tippmann smg 60 help!

I recently aired up my SMG 60 and tried firing it with a loaded and clip and the marker only fired one ball and the clip stopped feeding outward!
If there is someone who knows whats wrong please help!

are you using a siphon tank? and do the balls fit snugly int the clips?

also this should be in the tippmann section not the ccm one.

hmm.. is your pawl spring still good? sounds to me either you fired a ball but the clip didnt move(you need a ball in every spot of the stripper clip to have enough back pressure to index the next round).

is the SMG pawl facing the right direction?

Pics help, videos are eve better.

I never needed a siphon tank with my smgs but they would "choke" out sometimes when the tank was about half empty.

Also, make sure your paint isnt too loose in the clips. The issue here is that sometimes a paintball will jump out of the clip and manage to get a little ways down the barrel before the gun is fired. If its far enough along, there wont be enough back pressure to trip the pawl and index the next round.

Barring that, make sure that pawl is nice and squeaky clean, and will return to its rest position under its own spring force. Check that by just pushing on it, if it snaps back, its good. If its kind of gummy or wont return by itself, you need to clean it out or replace the pawl spring.
