Tippmann 98 RT help

Sooo I got this tippy for free in a deal, but itʻs missing the side of the response trigger. I need to know what to buy for it to get it work because I got a sweet smg kit to put on it. Kudos in advance to you wonderful people on MCB.

Heres a pic if it helps.

you need a
RT flow control valve
RT Banjo fitting assembly
RT air hose

These come in 1/8 or 1/16 sizes

The receiver is drilled to accept the upgrade, but are any of the RT guts in there at all? I can't tell if that's the piston peeking out behind the trigger or not.

Axel- Yeah, its got all the guts it seems. The piston is in there and everything looks right, it just doesnʻt have the outermost fittings and such.
Das- Does it matter which size I get at all? Probably gonna buy it off tippmann parts and they have both 1/8th and 1/16th. Looks like they have everything I need here: Tippmann 98 Custom Response Trigger System Repair Parts
Thanks for your help.

Defnitely get the upgraded size hoses. It will perform much better.

If you really decide you want the smaller 1/16 size, I have a bunch of leftover parts from when I made the upgrade myself on a few different markers.

Well I still need some replacement parts for her (That spring for the feedneck that always seems to get lost, for one) and Iʻm buying some Orings for the TPX, so Iʻm gonna buy them off there, but thanks. So 1/8th size everything is better?
EDIT: Which length hoses, too?

BlueTrane2028 11-26-2012 06:59 AM

Just get the 1/8 hose by the foot and cut what you need, it's a better deal.

I moved to the 1/8 setup, last spring. No more RT'ing issues. Tippmannparts.com is where I got the parts from.
