2012 got an egox for 400
Got an etek3, rotor and ninja cf tank for 220
Got a boston express cocker for 120
Got a 1 of milled 98 for 100
Last year ego8 for 240

I wouldn't say that an X7classic is excessively complex. It does have a bit of milsim goodness (or badness? depending on your viewpoint) tacked onto the outside making it a little funky to break open... but once you're inside, its an inline blowback.

I love tippmanns (and their clones...) for their simplicity and durability. I've never bought one home that I couldn't get working with little more than some oil and o-rings (and I've brought home some pretty gnarly looking garage sale tippmanns)

Love the craigslist in my area. This weekend i picked up an a5 for 40 bucks. Ive done even better. Best was a lot of 3 pro lites, an m98, and a phantom, plus odds and ends, all for 50 bucks!

LOL.> I started a forum to list hilariously overpriced spyder clones.

I wish they would just bring back the Carbine platform and manufacturing processes used with those guns. Carbines are where you'll find some legendary Tippmann durability and serviceability.

Aside from milsim upgrades, the only really 'internal upgrades' that I've seen for tippmanns are mostly the rate of fire [techt vortex, ect.] and I think the whole Idea is silly, because tippmanns have so much recoil.

I've actually owned one of the original tippinator 98
From my experience its more of a novelty than anything.
But even if it feels like your holding a bunny in hump mode,
They're really fun to use and brag about!
It's extremely heavy due to the front grip being cut off and replaced with a expansion chamber where the line usually screws in, wich is in the back of the feedneck.. So it's really heavy.. And my rotor lid would keep on opening.

So conclusion is if you enjoy holding a bunny while its humping... Give it a try
