TiPX barrel upgrade

Been looking to upgrade my barrel on my TiPX, does anyone have any suggestions on a good barrel for this gun?... i know the a5 and x7 barrels fit but i don't really want to put a 10 inch + barrel on the TiPX i like having it as a side arm just want to improve the accuracy of it

Stiffi makes a nice TIPX barrel, and I've heard lots of positive about the lapco rifled barrels
Getting it bored for freaks is a good idea too

If you're planning on shooting regular paint my vote goes to getting the stock barrel freak bored. If you want to shoot first strike rounds out of it regularly, the Tippmann Straightline might be worth looking into as it's made by Hammerhead and their various have shown good results with FS rounds.

Stanchy in the airsmiths forum does them, though if you want to use the smaller inserts you'll need to have him turn down the bolt tip a bit as well. Stock bolt to will get stuck in inserts smaller than .684 or so.

How about honing the barrel? i think Agent Smith said just honing the stock barrel will do wonders. but I second on SSC's FREAK boring ability and front bolt turn down.

AgentSmith speaks very highly of the stiffi 6.75" carbon fibre barrel so that might be something. I personally never found it necessary to upgrade from stock, as long as you're using good paint. The thing about barrels is that using a pistol is meant to be more for close range in the first place, unless you're using first strike rounds... So why bother? I mean in my area the stiffi barrel cost $70.99, CRAZY!!! Especially since I dual wield! If I upgrade my barrels later I'm going with lapco, their products are always backed up 100%
